How
to Create a FTP Account?
Login to the control panel for the site.
Then click on Account Settings.
Then click on FTP Manager.
Then click on FTP Accounts.
Then select "Add Account" (it's in
the middle of the screen).
At the screen enter in the new login for the new account.
Also enter in the password.
Then, if you want the ftp user to be limited
only to a directory enter the name of the directory the new
ftp user will be limited
to (for example--you want Fred to be limited only to the "flintstone" directory
of your web site. So you would enter flintstone in the next text
box. If you leave this box blank the new ftp user will have access
to everything in your public_html directory).
Hit Create.
Now this person can login with their login and password to the
site by going to ftp.yoursite.com.
